Smart Charts: making content actionable

One of my favorite examples of actionable content are the new Smart Charts in Kluwer Law International’s KluwerManualIP.com that is the authoritative source in global IP law. Several experts contribute knowledge to this manual. With Smart Charts, practitioners can quickly compare information on IP issues across multiple jurisdictions. Practitioners simply choose the intellectual property issue of interest, for example the issue of patentability, and the countries of interest. Within seconds, Smart Charts provide an answer that practitioners can save and export to Microsoft Word or Excel for future use. They can send the chart to clients. Answers in Smart Charts link back to the Kluwer Manual for additional explanation. It’s easy to refresh a Smart Chart to get the most recent content.
